Elegant summer wedding in Voula with a reception at Island Residence | Despina & Petros

Despina and Petros chose the heart of summer to live their day in Athens, with an aesthetic that seemed effortless on them: elegant, clean, bright. From the first images of the preparations, everything moved in calm tones, with subtle glints from the jewelry, the pearls and the carefully designed stationery; a small ode to detail, without exaggeration. The wedding dress, airy and textured, had the movement a summer day calls for, while the long veil gave that cinematic continuity that makes every step feel like a scene.

The ceremony took place at Agios Nektarios in Voula, with the light filling the steps and the grand entrance and the décor following the wedding’s elegant line: lush white floral arrangements, greenery that naturally “tied in” with the space, and an impressive aisle on the steps that guided the eye toward the couple. The arrival in the vintage convertible car added a playfully classic touch, while the guests, gathered up high, made the exit feel like a celebration from the very first minutes.

After the ceremony, the story continued by the sea, at Island Residence in Vari, where the summer landscape doesn’t need much to become a setting. Despina and Petros found time to get lost for a while in the quiet green paths and to close the day with sunset photos, with the veil spreading like light over the ground and the water holding the horizon’s last golden line.
