A few words about the wedding
Winter in Athens provided the most beautiful, festive backdrop for the wedding of Giota and Agapitos, on a day that seemed to balance perfectly between the warmth of family and the glow of an elegant aesthetic. From the very first moments of getting ready, with thoughtful and personal details, to the glances they exchanged before the ceremony began, everything carried a calm confidence—as if they knew that what mattered most was simply to live it.

Giota chose a minimal, utterly elegant wedding dress with clean lines and long sleeves, which paired beautifully with the winter feel of the day, while Agapitos appeared in a classic black tuxedo with subtle details that added character. The bouquet and décor moved in deep, rich hues—burgundy, red, plum—with a wild texture and seasonality, creating a setting that felt both romantic and dynamic, without excess.

After the ceremony, the evening unfolded like a celebration with rhythm and emotion. At the reception, the play of lighting, candles, and dark, elegant choices in the serving details and tables tied perfectly with the winter atmosphere, while the dessert table with croquembouche and the little “Mr & Mrs” touches added a fun, personal twist. And when the dance floor opened, the hugs, songs, and moments with sparklers lasted until late—exactly as they wanted it: unpretentious, with their people around them and their hearts full.

The story of the day was told with a cinematic eye and intense emotion by photographer Theodore Vourlis Photography, capturing everything from the most tender portraits to the liveliness of the celebration, without missing a single detail. A winter wedding in Athens that proves elegance doesn’t need excess—it only needs truth, good taste, and two people who look at each other the way Giota and Agapitos do.
