Summer in Athens has that special light that makes everything look softer, more cinematic – and the wedding of Ioannis and Vasiliki made use of it in the most natural way. From the very first moments of getting ready, the feeling was clearly romantic: smiles, hugs, friends helping with the final details and the bride moving among satin textures and little sparkles, wearing a tiara that added a subtle, almost fairytale-like touch.
Vasiliki chose a minimal yet so feminine wedding dress in clean lines, with a veil that fell lightly and followed her every movement. Ioannis, elegant and calm, kept the look classic, leaving room for the day’s emotions to take center stage. The moments with the family had that sweet intensity that only a wedding can bring: emotion, pride, and the effortless laughter that bursts out when everyone is in the same room.
The ceremony took place in a stone-built church that looked even more impressive in the afternoon light, with the entrance decorated richly yet balanced: white flowers, greenery and arrangements that “dressed” the stone without covering it. The color palette moved in white and green, offering inspiration for those who love timeless elegance and clean, romantic choices. The celebration continued at a reception venue with a garden and a pool, where the evening unfolded among warm wishes, tight hugs and a dance floor that filled up quickly. The details – from the welcome corner with gold accents to the white floral arrangements on the table – kept the style romantic and refined, while the music set the rhythm so the night remained truly festive, with highlight moments being the first dance and the couple’s impressive entrance by the water, under the lights and the sparks.
