Corfu put on its summer best for the wedding of Katya and Nick, with the soft Ionian light embracing a waterside ceremony. On the cobblestones, next to a white building, two floral arches and wooden chairs were set up, while a guitar duo accompanied the bride’s arrival. The flowers—peach and pink roses, blue delphinium, and small white blossoms—set the tone of the day and paired beautifully with the blue of the sea. The couple, smiling, emerged through a shower of rice, with the energy of friends filling the space.

Katya chose a classic, elegant gown with a high lace neckline and an open back that highlighted her understated elegance; a low chignon and natural makeup completed the look flawlessly. Her friends wore shades of green and sage with floral motifs, a lovely nod to the island’s Mediterranean greenery. Nick opted for a classic tuxedo with velvet loafers, maintaining the elegant line that defined the entire day.

The reception moved to a lush villa with panoramic views of the Ionian. Long tables embraced the dance floor, set with gold details, crystal glasses with a gold rim, and small clay plates with each guest’s place card. Between the place settings lay rich, low arrangements in shades of coral, pink, and blue, while a veil of thousands of fairy lights covered the garden and set the mood for dancing late into the night. The evening before, a pre-wedding dinner in a courtyard of the old town with bougainvillea and white hydrangeas offered the most fitting introduction to an island wedding that was utterly refined.
