Romantic autumn wedding in Chania with a ceremony under the pine trees | Fotini & Giorgos
A few words about the wedding
Fotini and Giorgos chose Chania to write the most tender chapter of their story, on an autumn day with that soft afternoon light and the calm that only Crete knows how to offer. From the beginning, the style of their wedding was clearly romantic, but without excesses; a warm, family celebration, with looks that say more than words and with small details that showed how personal this choice was.

The bride’s preparations flowed lightly, in a home full of loved ones, smiles, and moments that seemed to stop time. The wedding dress, with textured lace and a corset that embraced the silhouette, had a subtle glow that looked wonderful in the natural light, while Fotini’s hair was adorned with baby’s breath, keeping the romantic feel simple and clean. Among the day’s sweetest images was her four-legged “escort”, dressed with a tulle bow, making the atmosphere even more intimate.

For their arrival, a white classic car added a cinematic tone, before the couple headed to the ceremony location. The décor moved in white and green, with lanterns, candles, and wooden elements, while the floral arrangements with white roses and baby’s breath blended harmoniously with the natural landscape. The ceremony was set in a stone courtyard under pine trees, with a view opening out in the distance, and as the sun set, the atmosphere became more and more moving.

And then came the moment when Chania “spoke” in the most authentic way: the music of the group, with lyra and lute, led the guests in a joyful procession, full of clapping, teasing, and genuine merriment. Everything seemed tied together by a natural rhythm, as if it were happening exactly as it should. The story of the day was captured with sensitivity and a clear, warm eye by Patsiotis Photography, keeping alive not only the images, but also the feeling: Fotini’s tenderness, Giorgos’ serene joy, and that rare, quiet certainty a couple has when they know they are “together”.
