Elegant summer wedding by the sea in Kavala | Jannis & Eilleen

The wedding of Jannis and Eilleen in Kavala had that understated elegance that doesn’t need excess to stand out. With the sea as a backdrop and the summer light bathing every moment of the day, the couple created an atmosphere refined yet at the same time warm and welcoming. Eilleen chose a wedding dress with a striking, architectural line and an off shoulder detail, while Jannis followed the same aesthetic with a white dinner jacket and black bow tie, together composing a timeless and very tasteful image.

The ceremony took place in an outdoor setting with unobstructed views of the blue, where white prevailed in perfect harmony. Floral arrangements with hydrangeas, roses and calla lilies framed the aisle and the ceremony areas with a clean, elegant character, while the olive trees and Mediterranean greenery of the landscape blended perfectly with the setting. From the mirrored welcome sign to the table details, everything looked thoughtfully curated without losing its naturalness.

At the reception, the aesthetic became even more atmospheric. Long tables and distinctive wooden round tables were dressed with linen textures, glass cylinders with candles, delicate vases with white blooms and small touches that highlighted the wedding’s refined coastal style. The sea view was always present, while as the light faded, the candles and the venue lighting made the setting even warmer and more romantic. We also singled out the beautiful details in the art de la table, such as the tasteful menu cards and the personalized place settings with shells, which gave a very distinctive character to the dinner setting.
