Classic summer wedding in Naxos by the sea | Peny & Konstantinos

In Naxos, with the Cycladic light gliding over the whitewash and the sea audible a few meters away, Peny and Konstantinos chose a classic summer wedding that proved unforgettable. The ceremony was held in a white seaside chapel and the bride’s arrival by her father’s side filled the path with applause. The groom, in a deep blue suit and a white pocket square, added an effortless touch of island ease with his white sneakers.

Peny chose a light, fitted dress with intricate geometric embroidery that played beautifully with the light, and discreet waves in her hair that left her neck free. The palette was in ivory, dusty mauve and soft lilac: the bouquet with roses and lisianthus sweetly connected the shades, while the gray invitations with gold foil added a classic touch. The bridesmaids in deep green and soft pastel tones elegantly completed the ensemble.

At the chapel, the gentle breeze swayed the white fabrics and the lilac ribbons, while golden stands with candles and small bouquets in lavender tones adorned the ceremony table. The favors in transparent organza pouches made a lovely contrast with the stone and the white of the island. Design and coordination were by Cycladic Events, keeping the rhythm of the day uncontrived and island-style, from the entrance to the exit from the church.

The celebration continued at a private villa with a pool, where dusk painted everything silver and the guests danced under string lights. A hand-held sparkler at the couple’s first entrance lit up the excitement, and from there on the evening flowed with smiles, hugs and lots of music.
