Elegant summer wedding in Naxos by the waves | Antonis & Eleftheria

Antonis and Eleftheria chose Naxos to experience their wedding exactly as it suits them: light, authentic, and set against the endless blue. Summer on the island had that familiar, warm light that makes everything feel calmer, and the couple surrendered to the moment with a natural elegance that didn’t need to prove anything. From the first images of the day, with the bride getting ready smiling and writing on her espadrille, to their strolls through stone alleyways and by the little harbor, the feeling was purely island, yet also elegant.

The ceremony took place in a small, whitewashed chapel with a blue dome, bathed in sunlight, above the sea. The décor moved in romantic tones, with pink roses and baby’s breath subtly adorning the spot, blending beautifully with the landscape and the Cycladic simplicity. Eleftheria’s bouquet, full of tenderness and detail, brought color to the clean line of the white dress, while Antonis, in a light-colored suit, kept the same sense of lightness and summery refinement.

One of the most special moments was their little “escape” to the sea – a caique ride that added to the story an authentic Naxian chapter, full of breeze and salt air. Their photos on deck, with their hair caught by the meltemi and their gaze saying everything words can’t hold, captured perfectly what the day was overall: tender, bright, and utterly personal. And when it was time for the rice, the hugs, and the laughter, the moments had already become memories.

The evening unfolded into a relaxed island party with lots of movement, fairy lights above the tables, and details in soft pink that gave a modern romantic touch to the setting, without weighing down the atmosphere. The signature cocktails at the bar and the little nods to their beloved dog added the most playful, personal element, while the first dance turned into a celebration that lasted until late.
