2p weddings

Thank you for the time and interest that brought you here. Something on this page must have caught your eye, so let me introduce myself properly.

My name is Vasilis Liappis. I photograph weddings and elopements across Greece. I studied photography at AKTO, and most of what I actually use on a wedding day I learned afterward, on real days, with real couples, not in a classroom.

I have worked in several corners of this industry over the years. A few years ago I chose to focus on weddings specifically, because nothing else puts two people this openly at the center of a single day, right as their life changes.

I do not ask couples to perform for a camera. My job on the day is to disappear into the background so you can just be with each other. That comfort, more than any lens or setting, is what makes the difference between photos of two people posing and photos of two people actually there.

Greece gives me the rest. Hard light, deep shadow, the plain white and blue of the islands. I use it to build images that still feel true years after the day itself is gone.

It will be a pleasure to meet you and hear your story first. It will be an even bigger one to be there for the rest of it.
