Romantic summer estate wedding in Athens with pastel flowers | Marina & Giorgos

A few words about the wedding
Marina and Giorgos chose a warm summer day in Athens to say “I do,” with an atmosphere that beautifully balanced emotion and ease. From the preparations, in a bright space filled with friends and color, to the first glances before the ceremony, everything carried an authentic, human energy. Marina glowed in a wedding dress full of textured details and subtle sparkle, while Giorgos, in a deep blue suit, kept elegance simple and clean—as if it perfectly matched the calm look they exchanged every time they met.

The ceremony took place in a small white chapel amid the greenery, with flowers in romantic pastel shades—peach, soft pink, and cream—tied with eucalyptus and leaves that added freshness to the setting. The floral arrangements subtly framed the entrance and the ceremony table, while the decorated chairs kept the style light and airy, ideal for an estate wedding in Athens. Among the guests, moments unfolded naturally: smiles, hugs, a glance from Marina to Giorgos as the crowns were placed—everything that makes a ceremony feel more like a promise than a “formality.”

And when the light fell, the celebration moved to the garden, with tables under the trees and a summer-night feeling that keeps you outside for as long as you can keep dancing. Their first dance had that rare calm that doesn’t need much to stand out, while later the dance floor truly opened up, with friends lifting them high and laughter intertwining with the music. Their entrance to the reception, with spectacular fireworks lighting up the path, gave the most cinematic ending to a day full of tenderness.

This whole story was captured cinematically by Vasilios Muselimis, with images full of movement, detail, and that summer light that makes everything feel more real: from the rings on the box, to close-ups of the flowers and the couple’s quiet walks by the sea, before they returned to the celebration. A wedding romantic, elegant without excess, and so personal that in the end you felt you got to know Marina and Giorgos a little better just by watching them be themselves.
