My name is Angelos Karydas, I was born in 1981 in Philippiada, Prevezi, I lived in Igoumenitsa until my teenage years, I studied Electrical Engineering at T.E.I. Lamias and completed my studies in Thessaloniki and Warsaw expanding my knowledge on digital graphic arts. I took my first steps to familiarize myself with the technical part of photography at Stereosis Photography in Thessaloniki. I did street photography, landscape and portraiture. I loved the darkroom and black and white film and went crazy with color. I took part in competitions and distinguished myself for my works. With more than 10 years of experience, I am a Destination Wedding Freelance Photographer based in Thessaloniki. I always undertake personally the photographic coverage of the preparation of the groom, the bride, the mystery, the reception and the next day. The selection, processing of the images and the creative album is done entirely by me, always in collaboration with the couple so that the final result has the style they love and suits them and of course fully meets their expectations. Hello, I am Nikos Papadoglou and I am a photographer!

Photography for me is an exciting world, full of realism and emotions. It's a matter of perception and perspective. These are exactly the characteristics I want to see in every photograph since I started in 1998 and professionally in 2002.

Each couple has its own identity, ready to "write" a new story, their own. Wedding photography is a series of very personal choices, based on knowledge, sincerity, but above all aesthetics. Wedding photography is a unique and special moment, but one that doesn't give you the opportunity for repetition. Perhaps this is the magic, the seriousness, and the respect of wedding photography. A key factor for a beautiful result is focusing on the character, mood, chemistry, and bonds of each couple, who will be together with the photographer on the wedding day.

That's why I always focus on the character, mood, and bonds of these people. When asked what my best and at the same time favorite photograph is so far, my answer is "The one I haven't taken yet...," because I always aim for diversity and the opportunity to become better each time at what truly interests me. So... "Every wedding is a new story!"

And this is because photography at a wedding is an unpredictable and changing world full of moments ready to be captured with every click. All this, combined with good mood, great chemistry, and proper communication, make me unable to forget how much I love this profession no matter how many years pass.

Born in March of 1978 in Greece, I have been keen on photography since my early years influenced by my father. My first steps was as an amateur photographer back in the 90’s before studying photography in Athens. 

Afterwords i got involved in a various sectors of the photography industry, participating in and experiencing the transition from the "darkroom" and film era to the "lightroom" and digital in the early 00's, working mainly as an assistant to national & international photographers on fashion and commercial projects.

Eventually I introduced myself and started working officially as a professional photographer in 2004. Currently based in Agrinio city, running an art gallery and a photo business @ www.taxidevousa.gr.  My field of practice varies and you can experience it through a series of posts.

My chief role as a wedding photographer is that of a documentary photographer. However, I also shoot other pictures such as family and friend groupings, the dress, the shoes, the rings that make your wedding story complete. My wedding photography starts at home with the bride and the bridegroom getting prepped and extends throughout the rites and ceremonies in church and the couple at the reception celebrating the beginning of their new life with friends and family. I use the latest technology and most advanced editing software that will have you staring in awe at the results.

Wedding Photography is one of my major fields of work. But, I also cover other events such as baptisms, engagements, birthdays and corporate events.
