I am interested in capturing the most beautiful selves of people. I want emotion, expression, storytelling, romance but most importantly the best appearance of each.

I’m Dimitris, an experienced wedding photographer based in Greece Europe and Destination Weddings overseas. I consider it a great privilege to have been working as a photographer now for nearly 15 years, shooting weddings throughout the Greece and internationally. With me as your photographer you won’t be asked to pose or do anything that would feel unnatural. I love to see you wrapped up in the moment, unaware of me being there with the camera, allowing me to record the events of the day naturally. I create an honest style of wedding photography that is timeless. You may have come across various names of photography styles. Mine would most likely be described as documentary wedding photography. My promise to you is simple: To faithfully document the moments that make your wedding day so special and memorable, capturing the essence, the emotion and the atmosphere. I’m not flashy, and I’m not theatrical. I don’t interfere or intrude. I follow my heart and simply observe, quietly and unobtrusively recording your wedding day as it unfolds. Hello, I am Nikos Papadoglou and I am a photographer!

Photography for me is an exciting world, full of realism and emotions. It's a matter of perception and perspective. These are exactly the characteristics I want to see in every photograph since I started in 1998 and professionally in 2002.

Each couple has its own identity, ready to "write" a new story, their own. Wedding photography is a series of very personal choices, based on knowledge, sincerity, but above all aesthetics. Wedding photography is a unique and special moment, but one that doesn't give you the opportunity for repetition. Perhaps this is the magic, the seriousness, and the respect of wedding photography. A key factor for a beautiful result is focusing on the character, mood, chemistry, and bonds of each couple, who will be together with the photographer on the wedding day.

That's why I always focus on the character, mood, and bonds of these people. When asked what my best and at the same time favorite photograph is so far, my answer is "The one I haven't taken yet...," because I always aim for diversity and the opportunity to become better each time at what truly interests me. So... "Every wedding is a new story!"

And this is because photography at a wedding is an unpredictable and changing world full of moments ready to be captured with every click. All this, combined with good mood, great chemistry, and proper communication, make me unable to forget how much I love this profession no matter how many years pass.

Since 2010 I document weddings all over Greece. As I do love characters and personalities, my main interest is documenting people who truly love each other! Through the time of my photographic career I discovered many different areas but never fell more in love like I did with photographing couples and weddings. I feel so honoured for your consideration to tell the story of your wedding day.

There aren’t many times in your life you have your best friends and family members gathered together in one place. When you get your photos I want to bring you back to those moments in an intimate and impactful way, so you can remember how it felt. 

My style as a wedding photographer, is mainly reportage, meaning that I am trying to photograph you from the perspective of a close friend or family member, capture everything precisely as it is and make a story with authentic frames, that reveal connection, tears, laughter, celebration and pure love.

My chief role as a wedding photographer is that of a documentary photographer. However, I also shoot other pictures such as family and friend groupings, the dress, the shoes, the rings that make your wedding story complete. My wedding photography starts at home with the bride and the bridegroom getting prepped and extends throughout the rites and ceremonies in church and the couple at the reception celebrating the beginning of their new life with friends and family. I use the latest technology and most advanced editing software that will have you staring in awe at the results.

Wedding Photography is one of my major fields of work. But, I also cover other events such as baptisms, engagements, birthdays and corporate events.
